About the Order of the Silver Crescent by Allyn Wolfe The original root Tradition of the Central Valley Wicca has been named "Order of the Silver Crescent" to distinguish it from its variant off-shoots (everybody else). The Silver Crescent took the name in the late 70's at the insistence of the New Wiccan Church that they had to be called something. I don't think this is related to the British order of same name. Central Valley Wicca divisions are natively called "Orders" but we use the term "Tradition" as a synonym to avoid confusing folks when we don't intend to. written by: Allyn Wolfe, HP You may return to: A brief description of the Central Valley Wicca. |
